Loren Wernette

Co-Founder and CEO

Prior to co-founding REI Transactional, Mr. Wernette founded and served as CEO of Rijkdom Realty Partners a North Carolina based Real estate rental company that focused on the acquisition, renovation and rental management of single family and multi-family homes. He led the system development and tracking of the acquisition and renovation of 60+ properties over 2 years.

Mr. Wernette has a project management background acting as the Product owner for an international Chemical company where he led the development and deployment of the Salesforce.com Service cloud and commerce cloud for North America. Mr. Wernette graduated with a B.S. in Crop and Soil Science from Michigan State University in 2009 and a M.S. in Entomology from Michigan State University in 2011.

He enjoys spending time with his wife Meghan and 4 children and will often be found coaching baseball or watching his kids play sports.

Zachary Kornblum

Co-Founder & CFO

 Focused on loan structuring, corporate finance and business development strategies. Mr. Kornblum has a strategy background acting as Pharmacy Clinical Director for Marsh McLennan Agency where he leads clinical pharmacy strategy for employee health and 33 benefits clients.

Mr. Kornblum graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2013 and a PharmD from The University of North Carolina in 2017. He enjoys spending time with his wife Maggie and daughter Olivia and will often be found walking with his family at the beach.

Tim Harvilla is a seasoned real estate professional with a primary focus on structuring real estate and business projects both domestically and internationally. His expertise extends to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and development, providing a comprehensive approach to managing complex transactions. Since beginning his real estate investment journey in 2016, Tim has demonstrated a remarkable ability to identify and capitalize on lucrative opportunities, driving significant growth and value in the projects he undertakes.

In just two years, Tim propelled his market share in the Carolinas from 13th to 3rd place, showcasing his strategic vision and execution skills. He has successfully structured over 400 deals for development and new construction, establishing a robust track record of performance. As a leader in Borrower Relation management and Investor Relations, Tim's current endeavors include originating $185 million per year for real estate development projects, underscoring his pivotal role in driving the fund's growth and success.
